​Kamana is a female olive ridley who was found floating near Hurawalhi Resort in Lhaviyani atoll. When Kamana arrived at our centre, we noticed that she had old entanglement wounds on her front two flippers which have almost healed. We believe that she was entangled in a fishing net/ghost net and got lucky enough to save herself before the situation got worse. She was also struggling to dive down when the rescuers found her. Once she starts to dive, she will be released back into the ocean where she really belong
