Boki

Boki is an olive ridley post-hatchling that was found entangled floating close to the Amilla Maldives housereef. Due to her injuries, Boki was admitted into Atoll Marine Centre, where our Vet discovered that, besides some wounds on her front flippers, one of Boki’s back flippers was in very poor condition due to the entanglement. Despite her young age, Boki had to undergo an amputation of her back flipper, but she is recovering very well and diving for her food, so we hope that she will be healed and ready to go back to the ocean very soon.
