What do our interns say?
"Hello! My name is Rasheedhath Anum. I joined at the age of 14 and over the past two years I have learned so much. Before my time here, I had little confidence presenting myself or my work. However, after delivering several presentations to resort guests, I’ve developed the ability to present confidently to anyone! Even large crowds, regardless of their status—a skill I consider invaluable.

I’ve had the opportunity to experience many new things, such as snorkeling and diving, allowing me to witness incredible marine life. I’ve also been able to travel to diverse locations making new connections with amazing people. I work regularly with international volunteers from various backgrounds and ages, allowing me to gain new perspectives. This experience has truly been the highlight of my teenage years. Working at AMC has equipped me with valuable skills applicable both now and in the future.
During my time here, I’ve made lifelong friends and learned the importance of teamwork. I’ve gained a deeper understanding of our fragile environment, the impacts we create, and the significance of conservation. Overall, I am incredibly grateful for the experiences I’ve had and the knowledge I’ve gained. I want to thank everyone I’ve met during my time at AMC for teaching me so much."
